Renewal or increase intake of MBBS seats 2022-23: NMC gives deadline to medical colleges for submission of affidavit

Through a recent notice, the National Medical Commission (NMC) has informed all medical colleges about the deadline to submit the affidavit for Renewal of annual intake or increase intake of MBBS seats for the Academic Year 2022-23.

Earlier in the month of September, the NMC, after the declaration of NEET 2022 results, had allowed the due renewal of permission and recognition or continuation of recognition to all medical colleges based on certain conditions.

These permissions and recognitions will be allowed based on a sworn affidavit for the academic year 2022-2023 duly signed by the medical colleges' authorities. However, the NMC warned the institutes that surprise inspections will be conducted as per their track record and decisions will be taken according to the assessment reports.

Mukesh Ambani, family get death threat, caller threatens to blow up Reliance hospital in Mumbai

For threatening to blow up HN Reliance Foundation Hospital as well as industrialist Mukesh Ambani's residence 'Antilia', a man from bihar has now been arrested by the police

According to police officials, a threat call was received at 12:57 pm at landline number of Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital from an unidentified number. The caller threatened to blow up the hospital and also issued life threats to Mukesh Ambani and his family.

Andhra Pradesh makes one year bond service mandatory, Rs 40 lakh penalty for PG medicos, Rs 50 lakh for SS

One year bond service has been made mandatory for the Post-graduate and super-specialty medical students of Andhra Pradesh who will be admitted to the State quota seats.

Issuing a Government Order in this regard, the State Health Department announced that the PG medical and super specialty students who will join the courses in the academic year 2022-2023 and onwards will mandatorily execute a bond and promise to serve the government for one year.

As per the order, the doctors will be required to join the service within 18 months of the completion of their respective medical courses and if case of failure to comply with the bond terms, the doctors will be liable to pay a penalty amount of Rs 40 lakh. In case of the Super-specialty students the bond amount is Rs 50 lakh.

Medical colleges that do not have HMIS should start HMIS by 10th October: NMC

Reminding the medical colleges about the mandatory implementation of Hospital Management Information System (HMIS), the National Medical Commission (NMC) has once again written to the heads of the medical colleges directing them to comply with the directions.

The Apex medical education regulatory body pointed out that only a few medical colleges have shared the details HMIS API and directed the remaining colleges to share the details of API at: vaibhav.khokhar@nic.in, bansal.ankita@nic.in with a copy to director nme@nme.ory.in by next week.

NMC clarified, "The Medical Colleges who do not have HMIS are directed to start the HMIS in their MCH/s by 10th October, 2022 without failure."
