24 UP Medical Colleges Face Show-cause Notice over Inadequate Faculty, Infrastructure
The Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET) has decided to slap show-cause notices on at least 24 private medical colleges in Uttar Pradesh for failing to meet the faculty requirement and proper infrastructure.
DMET decided to take action against the colleges after conducting inspections in the medical institutes. During the inspection, it was revealed that there were significant deficiencies, including a shortage of qualified faculties and inadequate infrastructure.
