In a tragic incident, a doctor, pursuing a postgraduate (PG) course in MD Forensic Medicine and Toxicology (FMT) at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Raipur, allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling fan at his residence in Raipur.
A suicide note recovered by the police from his room revealed that he had been struggling with extreme work pressure. The medico cited immense work pressure at the hospital as the reason for taking the drastic step and apologised to his parents for taking his own life.
