Doctor, Pharmacist attacked by 5 assailants at Odisha PHC
In yet another case of violence against medical professionals, an on-duty doctor and a pharmacist of a Primary Health Centre (PHC) in Deriki were allegedly brutally assaulted by five intoxicated men who had come to the facility seeking treatment. The attack resulted in injuries to both the doctor and the pharmacist.
Based on the doctor's complaint, the police have registered a case under relevant sections of BNS against the miscreants and an investigation has been launched. However, no arrests have been made so far.
