In a shocking case of alleged medical negligence, two doctors at Shalini Hospital in Sitapur have been booked for allegedly removing a woman’s uterus through an abdominal incision instead of the recommended vaginal route.
The doctors have also been accused of discarding the removed uterus in hospital waste rather than sending it for histopathological examination, a standard medical protocol used to detect underlying medical conditions.
