Lab attendant at Jodhpur Hospital performs ECG after watching YouTube tutorial
In a shocking incident that has sparked widespread public concern, a lab attendant at Jodhpur's state-run hospital became the centre of attention after he performed an ECG scan on a patient after watching a YouTube clip due to the unavailability of doctors and staff during Diwali. The purported video of the incident has gone viral on social media prompting the administration to launch an inquiry.
In the viral video, the family members of the patient could be seen raising objections saying that conducting the scan without proper knowledge could kill him, to which the attendant said he had no other option as there was no staff.
