Facing an uncertain future, an MBBS student, whose admission was cancelled due to inconsistencies in caste certificate, has now approached Gujarat High Court praying for urgent intervention of the HC bench.
The student, who is currently undergoing her MBBS Internship, hails from the Bhil Community, a scheduled tribe. While he had been admitted to a government medical college under ST quota back in 2018, the scrutiny committee of the Commissioner of Tribal Development (CTD) has now cancelled his admission after finding inconsistencies in the caste certificate of his grand aunt.
