The medical seats of the state will receive a significant boost as the state government is all set to establish 7 new medical colleges within the next few years.
The establishment of these new medical colleges will increase the number of medical seats from 2035 to 3070 in government medical colleges.
Authorities will soon send a letter seeking the permission of the National Medical Commission (NMC) this year in this regard. With the opening of these new medical colleges, the number of medical colleges in the state will increase to 20.
