NEET 2025 Counselling: MCC Releases Notice on NRI Nationality Conversion Process

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) under the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) has issued a notice for candidates applying under the Non-Resident Indian (NRI) quota in the Stray Vacancy Round of the NEET UG Counselling for the academic year 2025.

According to the notice, candidates claiming NRI status must send all relevant documents via email till 2:00 PM on November 11, 2025. The MCC has clarified that candidates must send documents afresh for the Stray Vacancy Round, even if they had applied for NRI status in previous rounds. Submissions made before or after the specified time window will not be considered, and candidates must ensure all documents are sent in a single email only.
