NEET PG 2026: NBEMS Cautions Candidates Over Misleading Social Media Posts

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has warned NEET PG 2026 aspirants against circulating false, incorrect or misleading information about the examination on social media. The warning came after several users on platforms such as X claimed that the postgraduate medical entrance exam could be postponed. Responding to one such post, NBEMS advised users to exercise caution and refrain from sharing unverified information regarding NEET PG 2026. The user later deleted the post, which had suggested that news about a possible postponement was likely to emerge. NBEMS reiterated that candidates should rely only on information issued through official channels.

The medical examination body also cautioned that individuals circulating misleading information could face legal action under applicable provisions of law. In another response on social media, NBEMS repeated the same warning and urged users to avoid creating confusion among candidates through unverified claims. With NEET PG 2026 scheduled to be conducted on August 30, aspirants have been advised to monitor the official NBEMS website and authorised communications for any updates concerning the examination schedule, admit cards or other important instructions, reports NDTV.
