Taking action against nine students of Rajiv Gandhi Medical College found guilty of ragging their juniors, the Thane Municipal Commissioner has suspended them for one academic year. Those students were also evicted from the college hostel as punishment.
The action was taken against the students after the Anti-Ragging Committee of the medical college conducted an inquiry into the matter on the basis of a complaint.
