Rangaraya Medical College house surgeon sacked for one year over ragging MBBS students

A house surgeon at Rangaraya Medical College, Kakinada, has been suspended for one year after being accused of ragging the second-year MBBS students at the institute.
The accused house surgeon allegedly entered the hostel of the second-year MBBS male students in an inebriated state and ragged them for four hours by hurling abuses at them, The Hindu has reported. Apart from being suspended for one year, the college authorities have also imposed a fine of Rs 25,000 on the doctor.
