A case of cheating has been registered against the suspended deputy dean of Lokmanya Tilak Hospital, Rakesh Verma and two others by the Sion police for allegedly cheating a medical student of around Rs 21 lakh from Kolhapur, after promising him a seat at the post-graduation course (MD) in Sion hospital.
The police booked Dr Rakesh Verma, Aditya Kumar alias Anand Sharma and Dheeraj Tiwari for cheating on Saturday, reports the Times of India.
