Study shows new type of gene that explains why women have different symptoms of heart disease than men
New research from the University of Florida has found genes that affect heart disease in women, but not in men. The work could start explaining why women experience heart disease differently than men do.
When diagnostic tests for the heart were first created, scientists at the time did not fully consider that no two bodies are the same, especially between the sexes.
