NEET PG candidate loses seat during upgrade from MD Gynecology to MD Pediatrics, HC issues notice to NMC
The Gujarat High Court has sought to know stand of the National Medical Commission (NMC) on a plea by a NEET-PG 2021 candidate who lost her Postgraduate medical seat during the process of upgrading from MD Gynaecology to MD Paediatrics.
Although the medico had vacated her seat in Gynaecology in order to pursue Paediatrics at Rajkot Medical College, she did not receive the admission letter as she was marked as "unreported" on the day of admission, by the Central Admission Committee.
