In India, interstitial lung diseases (ILDs) are emerging from under the spotlight after decades of neglect. These lung diseases have been underdiagnosed, and therefore underreported, mainly because of a lack of recognition at many different levels. Interstitial lung diseases (ILDs) are a heterogeneous group of acute and chronic bilateral lung diseases of known and unknown causes and pose diagnostic and therapeutic challenges to the clinician. Clinicians and patients confronted with ILD are understandably frustrated as there is no cause or cure for most of ILDs.

In this video, Dr. Sandeep Nayar present some clinical case and open the panel for discussion. The discussion was done extensively on the case and then taking this further the panel discussed about post-COVID Fibrosis and follow-up necessity of patients admitted to hospital due to COVID.
