Doctor at GMC Agartala assaulted, abused by attendants, 1 held

In another incident of violence against doctors, a doctor at GMC Agartala's GB Pant Hospital in Tripura was allegedly assaulted and verbally abused by a group of youths, who were the attendants of a patient. The doctor suffered injuries to his head and photographs of the doctor's head, drenched in blood from a severe cut were circulating on social media platforms.
While the doctor suffered injuries in the attack, he is now out of danger, informed the National Chairman of the Federation of All India Medical Association (FAIMA), Dr. Rohan Krishnan.
