Doctor leaves needle inside patient head after stitches, investigation underway

A doctor at a Community Health Centre (CHC) in Uttar Pradesh's Hapur has allegedly left a surgical needle inside the head of a 22-year-old woman while stitching her wound. After her family reported the issue, the chief medical officer of Hapur, formed a two-member team on Monday to investigate the matter.
The incident took place after the doctor treated a wound sustained by the woman identified as Sitara, following a dispute with her neighbours.
