More than a month after the police arrested ten persons after busting a kidney racket in South Delhi, the police have filed a charge sheet against 11 persons, including two doctors, for running the transplantation racket.
The accused were arrested in June after the police conducted raids in various parts of Delhi and Haryana. They primarily targeted homeless and poor youngsters outside gurdwaras and hospitals. According to Hauz Khas police station sources, the charge sheet is around 6000 pages long.
