In the gloomy matter of the journalist death associated with the VYAPAM Scam, Dr Sudhir Gupta, forensic head AIIMS said that a medical board will be formed to further decide on what actually caused TV journalist Akshay Singh's death.

"We have received a request from the Madhya Pradesh DGP that they are sending (Akshay Singh's) viscera sample for chemical examination. The conduction of post mortem (where it will be conducted) is purely the prerogative of the investigating officer," Dr. Gupta told media here.

"We will form a medical board and it will decide further in the matter," he added.

On saturday, Journalist Akshay Singh suddenly became ill after coming from interviewing  the parents of a girl who had been found dead near railway tracks, after her name figured in the Vyapam scam. He was rushed to the civil hospital, but doctors could not revive him. The cause of his death still remains a mystery.

His family as well as opposition parties in MP are demanding a CBI probe in the entire matter
