Meerut: In a tragic turn of events, two MBBS students died and two others injured when their speeding car rammed into a wall in the Civil Lines area on Wednesday.
The injured were taken to the hospital where their condition is stated to be serious.
Speaking on the incident, the police informed UNI that the two MBBS students along with their two classmates left the LLRM medical college this morning in a car. Police said that the students were on their way back from a birthday party of one of their batchmates. The speed of the car was roughly 100 kilometres per hour, they added, which was the probable cause of the accident. The vehicle was damaged to an "unrepairable extent", cops said, as quoted by TOI.
