AIIMS Announces Result Of Round 2 Of Seat Allocation For INI-CET January 2023 Session

Delhi: All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS Delhi) has announced the result of 2nd round of seat allocation for MD/MS/MCh(6 years)/DM(6 years)/MDS, INI-CET January 2023 session.

As per the notice, this list includes all the candidates eligible for the 2nd round of seat allocation, irrespective of their status of participation in the seat allocation process for the 2nd round of seat allocation.

This list does not include the following -

1. All those candidates who did not participate in 1st round of seat allocation.

2. All those candidates who were allocated a Seat ( in the 1st round of seat allocation but did not choose any option online (no action taken) by 28th December 2022, 5.00 pm.

3. All those candidates who were allocated a Seat in the 1st round of seat allocation chose option 1 or 2 but did not complete the necessary formalities mentioned in the result of the 1st round of seat allocation by 28th December 2022, 5.00 pm.

For this round of seat allocation, the order of seat allocation was based on merit order used for the 1st round (including institutional preference seat (AIIMS and Subject/Specialty) & Institute (INST) stands for candidates who have studied and obtained their MBBS Degree from JIPMER. The word Institute does not apply to any other medical institution for benefit against statutory reservations.

In case a candidate who had chosen Option 2 after the 1st round of seat allocation gets a better choice of seat, the released seat has been offered to the next (remaining) eligible candidates as per the merit order used for the 1st round of seat allocation.

AIIMS has further announced that the seat allocation for this round has been done on the vacant seat due to non-action by the candidate in the 1st round of seat allocation.

The following is the process to be followed by the candidates who have been allotted seats in this round –

All the candidates who have been allocated a seat are required to visit the website and actively exercise the following options by 10th January 2023 up to 5:00 pm and report to the concerned allocated Institute by 10th January 2023 up to 5:00 pm with the original documents/Demand Draft as described below.

Option A. ACCEPT allotted seat. Failure to accept the allocated seat will lead to cancellation of the Allocated Seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty). Kindly read the details carefully.

Instruction for Option A –

Option A: If the Option of ACCEPT allocated Seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty) is selected, then -

1. The candidate will have to go to the allocated Institute before 5.00 pm on 10th January 2023 with the offer letter and report to the allocated Institute for depositing original documents along with one set of self-attested photocopies of all the certificates OR self-attested photocopies of certificates with a DD of Rs. 3 Lakhs in the name of the "AIIMS MAIN GRANT ACCOUNT" payable at SBI Ansari Nagar, New Delhi. The DD will be refunded/returned when all original certificates have been deposited within five days.

2. The offer letter can be downloaded from MyPage after login in at www.aiimsexams.ac.in.

3. The candidates note that if original documents at the time of joining have not been submitted, then the original documents should be submitted within 5 days of taking admission; otherwise, admission will be canceled, and the deposited DD of Rs. 3 Lakh will be forfeited.

4. The candidates whose allocated Seats in this round are at the same Institute where they have deposited documents after the 1st round of seat allocation must also follow the procedure mentioned above.

5. The candidates whose allocated seats in this round are at the different Institutes where they deposited documents after the 1st round of seat allocation; such candidates must go for the Institute allocated in the 2nd round. Their documents will be transferred internally.

The candidates who ACCEPT the allocated Seat (Option A) in the 2nd round but do not report to the allotted Institute by 10th January 2023 up to 5:00 pm to complete the necessary formalities, then the following will apply –

1. If a seat has not been allocated in the 1st round of seat allocation, the seat allocated in the 2nd round will be vacated without any further communication. Such candidates will not be eligible for the subsequent round (If any) except the open/spot round of seat allocation.

2. If a seat has been allocated in the 1st round of seat allocation. The candidate has accepted the seat and wishes to participate in the 2nd round (Option 2) and has already submitted a Demand Draft (DD) of Rs. 3 Lakhs, the deposited DD of Rs. 3 Lakh will be forfeited, and the seat allocated will be vacated. Such candidates will not be eligible for the subsequent round (If any) except the open/spot round of seat allocation.

3. If a seat has been allocated in the 1st round of seat allocation. The candidate has accepted the seat, wishes to participate in the 2nd round (Option 2), and has already submitted original documents. The same can be collected after payment of Rs 3 lakhs through DD of Rs. 3 Lakh only in the name of the "AIIMS MAIN GRANT ACCOUNT" payable at SBI Ansari Nagar, New Delhi, from the Institute where the certificates were deposited after rectification of fund transfer. The seat will be vacated. Such candidates will not be eligible for the subsequent round (If any) except the open/spot round of seat allocation.

It is mandatory for all candidates who have been allocated a seat in this round to log in and exercise the options as mentioned above by 5.00 pm 10th January 2023.


Group I. Candidates who had chosen option 2 in the 1st Round of Seat Allocation. There are two outcomes for them –

1. Group I A. Candidates who have been allotted the same seat in the 2nd round as allotted in the 1st round.

2. Group I B. Candidates who have been allotted a higher/better choice seat in the 2nd round than in the 1st round.

Group II. Candidates who were not allocated seats in the 1st round have now been allotted seats in the 2nd round of seat allocation.

Instructions for candidates belonging to Group IA (Candidates who have chosen option 2 in the 1st round of seat allocation and who have been allocated the same seat in the 2nd round as allocated in the 1st round).

Option A -

1. ACCEPT allotted seat.

2. The candidate will have to go to the allotted Institute with the offer letter (downloaded from the MyPage after login at www.aiimsexams.ac.in) and report in person to the allotted Institute by 5.00 pm on 10th January 2023.

3. In case the candidate had submitted self-attested photocopies of certificates with a Demand Draft (DD) of Rs. 3 Lakhs in the name of the "AIIMS MAIN GRANT ACCOUNT" payable at SBI Ansari Nagar, New Delhi, after the 1st round of seat allocation, then the candidate is required to deposit the original certificates at the time of reporting.

4. The demand draft will be refunded if the original certificates are deposited by 5.00 pm on 10th January 2023.

Instructions for candidates belonging to Group IB (Candidates who have been allotted a higher/better choice seat in the 2nd round as compared to 1st round in the same or different Institute) –

Option A –

1. ACCEPT allotted seat.

2. The candidate will have to go to the allotted Institute with the Offer Letter (downloaded from the MyPage after login at www.aiimsexams.ac.in) and will report in person to the allotted Institute by 5.00 pmpm on 10th January 2023.

3. The certificates will be transferred internally within the respective Institute.

4. In case the candidate had submitted self-attested photocopies of certificates with a Demand Draft (DD) of Rs. 3 Lakhs in the name of the "AIIMS MAIN GRANT ACCOUNT" payable at SBI Ansari Nagar, New Delhi, after the 1st round of seat allocation, then the candidate is required to deposit all the original certificates at the time of reporting.

5. The demand draft will be refunded if the original certificates are deposited by 5.00 pmpm on 10th January 2023.

Instructions for candidates belonging to Group II (Candidates who were not allotted a seat in the 1st round but now have been allotted a seat in the 2nd round of seat allocation) –

Option A –

ACCEPT allocated seat.

1. The candidate must report to the allocated Institute in 2nd round within the dates mentioned in the Important Dates Link.

2. The candidate will have to go to the allocated Institute by 5.00 pm on 10th January 2023 with the offer letter (downloaded from the MyPage after login at www.aiimsexams.ac.in) and report in person to the allotted Institute for depositing original certificates OR submit self-attested photocopies of certificates with a Demand Draft (DD) of Rs. 3 Lakhs in the name of the "AIIMS MAIN GRANT ACCOUNT" payable at SBI Ansari Nagar, New Delhi.

3. The DD will be refunded/returned when all original certificates have been deposited within five days.

4. If original certificates are not deposited at the time of reporting, these will have to be submitted in person within 5 days of reporting; otherwise, the allocated seat shall be canceled, and deposited money will be forfeited.

5. In the event of a candidate who has exercised this option but does not report by 5.00 pm on 10th January 2023, the seat allocated will be canceled. Such candidates will not be eligible for the subsequent round (If any) except the open/spot round of seat allocation.

Instructions for candidates belonging to Group III (Candidates who were not Allotted seats in the 1st round and 2nd round both) –1. All the candidates who had participated in the 2nd round and were not allocated any seat will automatically be eligible for the subsequent round (If any) and any open/spot round of seat allocation.

2. Any candidates who have been allocated a seat in the 2nd round of seat allocation and do not respond in any of the above manners their offer of a seat will be canceled. Such candidates will not be eligible for the subsequent round (If any) except open/spot rounds of seat allocation.

The candidates note that as per AIIMS, those who have been allocated a seat in the 2nd round of seat allocation but do not actively choose Option: A, i.e., accept the offer by the 10th January 2023 up to 5:00 pm and complete the necessary formalities by 5.00 pm 10th January 2023 such candidates will be deemed to have declined/refused the offer. The seat will be declared vacant for further/spot rounds of seat allocation. This applied to all groups of candidates, i.e., upgrading/retaining the last allocation/new allocation.

Policy regarding the depositing of documents/certificates/Rs 3.00 Lakhs –

The claim to the allocated seat by candidates is subject to verification of the documents for eligibility as applicable, as well as identity verification of the candidature. If a candidate fails to submit the required certificates (original or photocopies with a Demand Draft (DD) of Rs. 3 Lakhs in the name of the "AIIMS MAIN GRANT ACCOUNT" payable at SBI Ansari Nagar, New Delhi.), their candidature will be canceled; the seat will be vacated.

The candidates will have to deposit the following documents in original along with one set of self-attested photocopies of all certificates OR self-attested photocopies of certificates –

1. Offer Letter (From MyPage after logging in)

2. Seat allocation Slip (take a print after online acceptance of the allocated Seat (Institute- subject/specialty)

3. Final Registration Slip (From MyPage after logging in)

4. Admit Card issued by AIIMS (From MyPage after logging in)

5. Mark Sheets of MBBS/BDS 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Professional Examinations

6. MBBS/BDS Degree Certificate

7. Internship Completion Certificate/Certificate from the Head of Institution or College that the candidate will be completing the internship by 31st January 2023

8. Permanent/Provisional Registration Certificate issued by MCI or DCI/State Medical or Dental Council

9. High School/Higher Secondary Certificate/Birth Certificate as proof of date of birth. (Matriculation)

10. The candidate should also bring the following certificate, if applicable

11. SC/ST: Original Certificates issued by the competent authority

12. OBC/EWS: Original Certificates issued by the competent authority and issued within the dates mentioned below should be in English or Hindi. The community should be mentioned in the certificate. OBC(NCL)/EWS certificate should be same as provided to Examination Section, AIIMS, New Delhi within due dates.

13. Certificate for Persons with Benchmark Disability issued from a duly constituted and authorized Medical Board as mentioned in the prospectus

14. All PWBD Candidates allotted the seat are required to report along with the Original PWBD certificate on 09-01-2023 (10:00 am) at Deans Committee Room, Academic Section, AIIMS, New Delhi, for verification of Disability certificate by the Medical Board. To report under 02nd round of seat allocation, all PWBD Candidates found eligible after verification of disability certificate is required to submit all certificates in original along with one set of self-attested photocopies of all certificate OR self-attested photocopies of certificates with a Demand Draft (DD) of Rs. 3 Lakh only (Rupees Three Lakh only) in the name of the "AIIMS MAIN GRANT ACCOUNT" payable at Delhi.

15. As all Eligible PWBD candidates have been called for seat allocation in 2nd round, the seats at AIIMS under PWBD remaining vacant will be filled by candidates in the respective constitutional category as per merit and choices made. However, any seat vacated by any PWBD candidates will be made available in the next/open round of allocation to participating PWBD candidates. Candidates of respective categories as merit and choices made will fill any vacant seat.

16. The allocated Seat of candidates, who fail to produce a valid certificate of PWBD category, will be forfeited, and the candidates will be permitted to participate in further rounds under their respective constitutional category subject to conditions applicable to the respective merit list.

17. Any other certificate in respect of candidature as per prospectus INI-CET Part-B of respective Institute as applicable

The competent authority should issue OBC Certificate for central Govt. jobs/for admission to Central Govt. College/Institute. The sub-caste should tally with the Central List of OBC. OBC Certificates that apply only to respective State Governments shall not be acceptable. OBC certificate must be in the Central Govt. Format as prescribed in the prospectus. OBC Candidates should not belong to Creamy Layer.

Valid dates of issuance of certificates –

1. Eligibility criteria and date of validity of certificates remain the same as published earlier, and the closing date of the application form shall be treated as 25.10.2022.

2. The OBC (NCL) certificates should have been issued between 12.10.2021 and 13.11.2022 (Inclusive dates).

3. The EWS certificate must be valid for the financial year 2022-2023 and issued between 01.04.2022 to 13.11.2022 (on or before the Exam date), both dates inclusive, based on the income of the year 2021-2022.

The certificate from any other person/authority will not be accepted, and no further correspondence will be entertained. The officer's name, designation, and seal should be legible on the certificate.
