AIIMS INI SS January 2022 session: Check out eligibility criteria, counselling procedure
New Delhi : Through a recent notification, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has informed about the Round 2 counselling process for INI SS January 2022 session with respect to DM, MCh and MD Hospital Administration admissions.
As per the information brochure published on the official website of AIIMS, even if the candidate does not wish to change the choices or their order, he/she must login at least once to record their willingness to participate in 2nd Round of Institute allocation from 12.01.2022 (11:00 AM) to 14.01.2022 (5:00 PM) on the portal otherwise candidate will not be considered for 2nd Round of Institute allocation.
All the concerned candidates are advised to check out the eligibility criteria as well as procedure of ROund 2 counselling session as mentioned below:

The following candidates will be eligible to participate in 2nd Round of online Institute allocation:
1. The candidates who have opted Option-2 (ACCEPT allotted Institute and WANT TO PARTICIPATE in 2nd ROUND of Institute Allocation) in 1st Round of online Institute allocation and completed the due procedure of reporting as applicable in 1st Round.
2. All the candidates who were eligible to participate but were not allocated Institute in 1st round of online Institute allocation as per their filled choices.
Note: - It is mandatory for all eligible candidate to login at least once between from 12.01.2022 (11:00 AM) to 14.01.2022 (5:00 PM) to be considered for Institute allocation in 2nd Round of online Institute allocation.
NOT ELIGIBLE
1. All those candidates who did not participate in 1st Round.
2. All those candidates who were allotted Institute of their first choice in 1st round of Institute allocation.
3. All those candidates who were allotted Institute in the 1st Round but did not choose any option online by 07th January, 2022 by 5:00 pm.
4. All those candidates who were allotted Institutes and chose option 1 or 2 but did not complete necessary formalities by 07th January, 2022 by 5:00 pm
5. All candidates required to mandatory login at least once and did not login between 12.01.2022 (11:00 AM) to 14.01.2022 (5:00 PM)
PROCEDURE
1. The eligible candidates for the 2nd Round will have to login for INI-SS Online Institute Allocation portal. The link for the portal will be activated for eligible candidates in the My Page accessible by logging in using the credential that they have used for filling application form and other processes related to INI-SS Entrance Examination for January 2022 session.
2. The INI-SS online Institute allocation portal will show the Institute filled by the candidates in the 1st Round of online Institute allocation. The candidates can edit (add, delete, reorder) choices (Institute against applied Subject/Speciality). It may be noted that it is mandatory for candidates to login at least once to record their participation in the 2nd Round of online Institute allocation even if they do not wish to change their sequence of choice exercised earlier by the dates specified in Important Dates Link.
3. For the candidates who had chosen Option 2 (ACCEPT allocated Institute and WANT TO PARTICIPATE in 2nd ROUND of online Institute Allocation) in the 1st Round of online Institute Allocation, the already allotted choice (Institute) cannot be deleted from the choices. They can add, delete, and re-order other choices. Any choice lower than the already allotted Institute will NOT be considered for 2nd Round of online Institute allocation.
4. The online Institute allocation will be done in order of the merit and according to choices made by the candidate.
5. Candidates who opted for Option 2 in the 1st round of Institute allotment and no better choice (institution) is available during the 2nd Round of Institute allocation, then the Institute allotted in the 1st Round will be retained in the second round of Institute allocation.
6. The Portal will be opened for dates specified in the Important Dates link in the Portal. The choices made by the candidate will be locked either by the candidate OR automatically on the last Date and Time specified in the Important Dates link in the Portal. (But again reiterated that login into account is mandatory).
7. All the candidates who shall be allocated Institutes in the 2nd Round are required to login to the INI-SS online Institute allocation portal and actively choose the following options within date and time specified in the Important Dates link:
Option 1. ACCEPT allotted Institute and DO NOT WISH TO PARTICIPATE in further rounds of Institute Allocation.
Option 2. ACCEPT allotted Institute and WANT TO PARTICIPATE in 3rd ROUND of Institute Allocation
[if You choose option-2 and participate in 3rd round and you are allocated another Institute as per your choice in 3rd round, then you will have to join the Institute allocated during 3rd round. The Institute allocated in second round shall be considered vacated and the same shall be automatically allocated to other candidates in order of merit. Failure to join the upgraded Institute shall lead to impositions of penalty of Rs.3.00 Lakh.]
(Those who shall be allotted a Institute in the 2nd Round of Institute allotment but DO NOT actively choose "OPTION 1 or 2" to Accept the offer or participate in next round of allocation by 5.00 PM on 25.01.2022(Tuesday) and complete the necessary formalities by
5.00 PM on 25.01.2022(Tuesday) shall be deemed to have forfeited the allotted Institute & became ineligible for further rounds and allotted Institute will be offered to next candidate.
Those who have been allotted a Institute in 1st round and participated in 2nd Round and no upgradation happened are also required to choose actively Option 1 or 2 by 5.00 PM on 25.01.2022 (Tuesday) & complete the necessary formalities by 5.00 PM on 25.01.2022 (Tuesday).
Those who chose Option 1: Accept allotted Institute are required to report to Allotted Institute till 5.00 PM on 25.01.2022 (Tuesday) (Failure to do so will lead to forfeiture of the allotted Institute).
Failure to login and selecting an option within date and time specified in the Important Dates link will also lead to forfeiture of the allotted Institute)
8. All the candidates who are allocated Institutes are mandatorily required to report in-person/representative (for reporting and/or joining) (to allocated Institute within the date and times specified in the Important Dates link). The candidates are required to deposit original certificates along with one set of photocopies of all certificate OR photo copies of certificates with a Demand Draft (DD) of Rs. 3 Lakhs only (Rupees Three Lakhs only) in the name of the "Director AIIMS, New Delhi" payable at SBI Ansari Nagar, New Delhi at allotted INIs. Candidates are required to report & join by date as required by the respective INIs. In case of Demand Draft, original documents must be deposited within the days specified by the allocated institute after reporting.
9. Candidates availing age relaxation must show valid proof of their claim for age relaxation at the reporting INIs when they are depositing original certificates. In case they do not possess a valid certificate then their claim of age relaxation will be nullified, and they will be ineligible to appear in the further rounds or eligible for particular institutes as per their eligibility criteria mentioned in the prospectus. The OBC/EWS certificate must be valid for admission in Central Govt. Institution and should be in Hindi/English language.
The validity of OBC/EWS certificate is mentioned in the Prospectus part-A of INI-SS January-2022 session.
10. SPONSORED/OCI/FOREIGN NATIONAL CANDIDATES:
a) The Institute allocation will be done in order of merit and process of online Institute allocation will be same as for General Seats.
11. All candidates are advised to remain alert to take note of any communication sent in Email/SMS/Notification published on portal. AIIMS New Delhi is not responsible for anything due to delay in noticing such information by the candidates.
12. All disputes pertaining to the conduct of the INI-SS by AIIMS, New Delhi and Online Institute Allocation will be subject to the jurisdiction of High Court of Delhi only.
