AIIMS Patna Issues Guidelines, Module List, Important Dates For Elective Posting Of MBBS 2020 batch medicos, details
Patna: All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS Patna) has issued guidelines, the module list, important dates, and a list of nodal officers for elective posting of MBBS 2020 students.
Important dates –
1. Brief Session for students regarding Elective posting Venue: Time: 04:00 PM – 19.1.2024
2. Last date of download of Application form – 27.1.2024
3. Last date of submission of Application form – 28.1.2024
4. Allotment of the department for Elective posting – 30.1.2024
5. Commencement of the Elective posting- 1.2.2024
6. Completion of the Elective posting – 29.2.2024
7. Date of the submission of the Attendance & Assessment record by the Department – 4.3.2024
Student(s) may contact O/o the Dean (Academics)/Dept. of Medical Education/concerned Department for any query regarding Elective posting.
Guidelines for the elective posting of MBBS students –
1. There will be an Elective posting for one month after the end of 3rd Prof. Part-l and before the commencement of 3rd Prof. Part-l.
2. The objective of the Elective posting is to provide the students with diverse learning experiences and to do research/community projects that will stimulate self-directed experiential learning and lateral thinking. It will also provide practical working exposure of departments to the students.
3. Elective posting will be mandatory for all students who have appeared in the 3rd Professional Part-l Examination.
4. The students have to maintain a minimum of 75% attendance in Elective posting for appearing in the 3rd Professional Part-ll examination.
5. The Proposed date for Elective posting for the MBBS 2020 Batch is in February. The timings of the Elective posting will be from 10:00 am to 01:00 pm (Monday to Saturday). Regularly scheduled classes of 3rd Prof. Part-ll will be held from 8 10 AM & 2-4 PM.
6. Allotment of the department for Elective posting will be purely on merit cum choice basis.
7. Students can opt from all the departments available for Elective posting in order of their preference.
8. Assessment will be done by the concerned department at the end of the Elective posting.
9. During the Elective posting logbook has to be maintained by the concerned department.
10. At the end of the Elective posting, the assessment & attendance record have to be submitted to both O/o the Dean (Academics) & Dept. of Medical Education by the concerned departments.
11. The Application Form, Modules, Preceptor, List of the departments available for the Elective posting & number of seats available in each department will be available on the Institute's website.
12. The final list of Elective postings will also be displayed on the Institute's website.
The elective module list has also been released. The list includes Department, No of Module, Module Name, Preceptor Name, and Retribution of Seats. The detailed list is enclosed in the notice below.
There are a total of 39 Nodal Officers for elective MBBS. A detailed list has been released for the same. The list includes Name, Designation, Department, and Email ID. The detailed list is enclosed in the notice below.
