Applying for MBBS in Haryana: Check out fee structure for Govt Medical Colleges

Haryana: Through a recent notification, the Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER) Haryana, has released Fee Structure For MBBS Course in Government Medical Colleges in the state.

Last year in November, the fee of the MBBS course in Government Medical Colleges was revised to 80,000/- per annum with an annual increase of 10%. As per the recent notification, from 2020-21 onwards, the Tuition Fee of MBBS students pursuing their medical education in Government institutes has been fixed at Rs 61,410 with an annual increase of 10%.

Besides, the notification mentions about Admission fee of Rs 5000, Student Fee of Rs 3000, Medical Fund of Rs 1250, and Security Deposit of Rs 5000. Further, the students would need to pay Rs 600 for Athletic Fund, Rs 1500 for Registration Fee and Development Fund each, Rs 150 for Sports Fee, Rs 500 for Youth Welfare Fee, Rs 10 for NSS Fee, and Rs 80 for Youth Red Cross Subscription Fee.

Medical Dialogues recently reported about the fee structure for PG medical courses in the state's government as well as private medical colleges.

The biggest change that has been introduced in the new fee structure is the major hike in the MD/MS fees for the private medical colleges. Now the students intending to pursue post-graduation in clinical specialities in the private medical colleges of Haryana will have to pay a sum of Rs 16.5 lakh per annum, which is almost double than the previous fees of Rs 8.85 lakh per annum.
