474 AYUSH seats available for Round 1 counselling at Dr NTR University Of Health Sciences

Vijayawada: Dr. Ntr University Of Health Sciences has issued notification for exercising web options, the seat matrix, the eligible list, and the non-eligible list for phase 1 of UG AYUSH courses.

All the eligible candidates who are present in the merit list published on 3rd March 2022 and its subsequent corrigendum & on 23rd April 2022  are only eligible to exercise their options as per the seat matrix displayed on the website http://ntruhs.ap.nic.in. The candidates can exercise the web option till 25th April 2022, 8:00 pm.

The candidates can exercise any number of web options and need to take the printout of the saved options. Candidates will receive the allotment order after the allotment of the seat. For allotment status, candidates need to visit the website: https://ug.ntruhsadmissions.com/.

Candidates who will be allocated a seat will have to pay Rs 86000 as a university fee online before they get the allotment letter. The fees can be paid through debit card/credit card/net banking. The university fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances. In addition, the selected candidates will have to pay tuition fees of Rs 22000 per year for admission into AYUSH Courses.

The candidates who have got admission on 13th April 2022 under AIQ counselling are also eligible to opt for this counselling if their name is present on the merit list. However, if the seat is allotted, they should withdraw from the existing seat of AIQ in private un-aided non-minority UG AYUSH colleges under Dr.NTR UHS.

The candidates who have already got admission through AIQ counseling of AACCC, New Delhi, are not eligible to participate in this counseling. If any ineligible candidates participate in this round, then such a candidate's candidature will be canceled and will not be allowed to participate in the further rounds.

At the time of registration, candidates will receive a one-time password on their registered mobile and also at the time of saving web options. The password consists of 6 letter code with English capitals A to Z.

Candidates need to check their final allotment, take the printout of the allotment letter from the web and report to the respective colleges on or before the date specified on the allotment letter with all original certificates and pay the tuition fee to complete the admission process, failing which the candidate will lose the admission.

Eligibility for admission into BUMS course

1. The candidate shall have passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination from any recognized Board with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology and shall have obtained a minimum of 50%. Marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in the case of general category and 40% marks in the case of scheduled castes, scheduled tribes, and other backward classes.

2. In respect of persons with disability candidate specified under the rights of persons with disabilities act, 2016 (49 of 2016,) the minimum qualifying marks shall be 45% in the case general category and 40% in the case of scheduled caste tribes and other backward classes.

3. Candidates should have passed Urdu or Arabic, or Persian language on the subject in the 10th standard or in the 12th standard.

The next phase of counseling will be conducted with fresh options as under -

1. Unfilled seats in phase1.

2. Not reported seats after phase 1.

3. Left-over seats of AIQ private un-aided non-minority AYUSH (BHMS/BAMS) colleges.
