Maharashtra: Jagdamba Education Society's Matoshri Asarabai Darade Ayurved College (MADAC), Nashik, has been granted permission to increase 50 more BAMS seats for the academic year 2022-23. According to Maha CET Cell, the total seats have become 100.

As per the notice, these seats will be filled –up in round 5 of the stray vacancy round. For the stray vacancy round the candidates, the candidates need to join till 4.3.2023. The candidates interested can apply to the college according to the schedule of round 5. The cutoff date for admission to Ayush courses, as declared by the Ministry of Ayush, is 4.3.2023.

51 seats are there for round 5 of the stray vacancy round in this college. The detailed seat matrix is enclosed in the notice below.

Eligibility for UG AYUSH courses –

1. The candidates should be NEET UG qualified.

2. The candidates must be Maharashtra residents.

3. The candidates must have passed the 10+2 or equivalent examinations with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as compulsory courses from a recognized educational institution.

4. The candidates must be 17 years of age as of 31.12.2022.

Matoshri Asarabai Darade Ayurved College has affiliated with Maharashtra University in Health Sciences Nashik and approved by the Central Council of Indian Medicine. The college was established in the year 2014. BAMS course is carried in the college.

The Government of Maharashtra has established a State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET CELL) under Admission Regulating Authority (ARA) as per the provision in Section 10 of the Maharashtra Unaided Private Professional Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions and Fees) Act, 2015.

Recently Medical Dialogues team reported that Maha CET Cell has announced that 3 new colleges have been newly permitted for Postgraduate Ayurved and Homoeopathy College (state quota) with an intake capacity of 33 seats. The seats in the newly permitted colleges will be filled in the mop-up round. 3 seats were allotted in these three colleges for the mop-up round.
