55 Seats Vacant For UG AYUSH Special Stray Vacancy Round: BOPEE

Jammu & Kashmir: 55 seats are vacant for a special stray vacancy round of UG AYUSH courses. The Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE) has released the detailed seat matrix for the same.

Most of the seats are vacant for BUMS courses as compared to BAMS. The seat matrix is divided into AIQ, UT OF LADAKH (STK/STL), UT OF J&K (OPEN MERIT), P&B, and MGT. Seats are vacant for both private and government institutions.

The following are the colleges included in the seat matrix –

Government -

1. Government Ayurveda Medical College, Jammu (GAMC-JMU)

2. Government Unani Medical College & Hospital, Shalteng, Srinagar (GUMC-SGR)

Private –

1. Jammu Institute od Ayurveda & Research, Jammu (JIAR-JMU)

2. Kashmir Tibbia College, Hospital & Research Centre, Srinagar (KTC-SGR)

3. Asian Srinagar, (ASIAN-SGR)

The Board will conduct the Stray Vacancy Round of Counselling (physical) on the 24th of November, 2023, as per the following schedule –

1. Time of Registration/Attendance - 08.30 am to 10.00 am

2. Rank – 01 - 4115 and newly registered candidates, if any

3. Remarks - All the eligible candidates (OM/Category)

The candidates who have been allotted a seat/college during the Mop Up Round of counseling but have failed to join against the said seat/college shall not be eligible to participate in the Stray Vacancy Round of counseling under any circumstances.

The candidates who have been allotted seats in AIQ during the 2nd /Mop up/Stray rounds of counseling & have joined the allotted Institutions & also those candidates who are participating in AIQ Stray round(s) of counseling are not eligible to participate in this round of counseling.
