AYUSH Admissions 2021: 194 Seats Available For Special Stray Vacancy Round, Check out Counselling Schedule
New Delhi: AYUSH Admissions Central Counseling Committee (AACCC) has released the counselling schedule and seat matrix for the special stray vacancy round for AYUSH UG courses.
This year AACCC had conducted a stray vacancy round for AYUSH UG courses but still, after the round was over 194 seats vacant in Central Universities/ National Institutes/ Government colleges/ Government Aided colleges. As a result, the competent authority has decided to conduct a special stray vacancy round to fill the vacant seats so that AIQ seats do not go waste. This round will also be an online round like the previous one.
Counselling schedule –
1. Payment of security deposit for special stray vacancy round – 6th May 2022 till 8th May 2022, 6:00 pm
2. Choice filling and choice locking - 6th May 2022, 6:00 pm till 8th May 2022, 11:59 pm
3. Processing of seat allotment – 9th May 2022
4. Publication of result – 10th May 2022
5. Reporting at allotted college – 10th May 2022 till 14th May 2022, 5:00 pm
Eligibility criteria –
Candidates previously registered on the AACCC-UG portal but did not hold any UG seat in the previous rounds of counselling and State/UT/Institutional counselling and were not allotted any seat in the round 3, Mop-Up and stray vacancy round conducted by the AACCC are eligible to apply.
Non-eligibility criteria –
1. The candidates already allotted & joined a seat in AACCC-UG/ State/UT/Institutional counselling are not eligible to apply.
2. The candidates who have been allotted a seat in the Mop-Up round and stray vacancy round conducted by the AACCC, M/o Ayush earlier but did not join the allotted seat are not eligible to apply.
Candidates participating in this round need not do fresh registration. However, all eligible registered candidates willing to participate will have to submit fresh choices for the special stray vacancy round by logging into the AACCC-UG portal (www.aaccc.gov.in) as per the scheduled period.
All registered candidates, irrespective of their category, must pay a refundable security deposit of Rs10000 for participation in a special stray vacancy round. The refundable security deposit of candidates who do not join the seats allotted to them in a special stray vacancy round will be forfeited. The candidates allotted seats in the special stray vacancy round will have to join the allotted institute within the scheduled reporting period.
Candidates participating in this round will have to furnish an undertaking concerning the allotment of seats at the time of choice filling on the AACCC-UG counselling portal as under "I agree to participate in the Special Stray Vacancy Round of AACCC-UG Counselling, 2021. I affirm that I am not holding any allotted UG seat in the previous rounds of AACCC-UG Counselling/State/UT/Institutional counseling, 2021 and I understand that these seats are precious in nature. Hence, if I get allotted a seat during the Special Stray Vacancy Round, I will join the allotted seat. If, due to any reason I do not join the allotted seat my security deposit of 20,000/- (10,000/- security money deposited during registration on AACCC-UG portal + 10,000/- deposited during Special Stray Vacancy Round of AACCC-UG counseling) will be forfeited and any action including legal action may be taken by the Competent Authority."\

The seat matrix for special stray vacancy round for AYUSH UG courses has also been released. A total of 194 seats are allotted for this round. BSMS has 1 seat, BAMS has 76 seats, BUMS has 42 seats, and BHMS has 75 seats.
