Maharashtra: Through a written notice, the Government of Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell has released the schedule of CAP round 2 state AIQ 15% seats in unaided/private/minority colleges for BAMS/BHMS/BUMS courses for round 2.

Round 1 joined candidates who have not been upgraded in round 2 may resign their seat allotted in round 1 within 05 days (before15th March 2022 ) of round 2 result announcement (availing free exit), failing which they will be considered as part of joined candidates for round 2 and rules will apply accordingly. Candidates having joined status in round 2 (AIQ 15%) will not be allowed for further rounds of counselling.

MAHACET Cell has further notified that seats under AIQ for private unaided institutes will be open. However, the Central Government list may provide relaxation in qualifying criteria category-wise.

There shall be no requirement for a domicile certificate in a particular State/UT or passing of 10+2 in a particular State/UT. However, candidates already registered for state counselling if desirous for admission in AIQ 15% seats of the private unaided institute for BAMS/BHMS/ BUMS courses will have to register again for All India Quota by paying a fee of Rs.2000.

State/UT counseling authority will conduct rounds for AIQ private seats, and vacant seats shall be converted into the State/UT Quota according to the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, New Delhi. Other criteria will remain the same for AIQ seats as mentioned on the AACCC official Counselling website: https://aaccc/gov.in/.

Eligibility Criteria

HSC Passing Marks for eligibility in admission to ASU & H UG Courses should be as per the ASU & H UG regulation and will be followed strictly. The details Qualifications for different categories are as follows -

1. The candidates must have passed intermediate (10+2) or its equivalent examination recognized by the concerned State Government and Education Board with the Subject of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English individually.

2. Minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology at the aforesaid qualifying examination in the case of General Category.

3. 40% Marks in PCB in the case of the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Classes (as per center list).

In respect of Persons with Disability candidate specified under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 (49 of 2016), the minimum qualifying marks in the said qualifying examination are as follows -

1. In Physics, Chemistry and Biology shall be 45% in the case of General Category. (for PwD Candidates Only)

2. 2.40% in the case of the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Classes. (for PwD Candidates Only).

NEET Passing Marks for eligibility for admission to an undergraduate course for an academic year, it shall be necessary for a candidate to obtain a minimum of marks at 50th in NEET UG - 2021. Provided that respect of -

1. For Candidates belonging to the scheduled caste, scheduled tribes, and other backward classes, the minimum marks shall be 40%

2. For candidates with benchmark disabilities specified under the Right of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016(49 of 2016,) the minimum marks shall be at 45th Percentile in the case of General Category and 40% in the scheduled caste, scheduled tribes, and other backward classes.

Those candidates who have been marked/claimed as a PWD candidates in the online application have to submit original certificate of disability at the time of registration as per the format published in www.aaccc.gov.in under counselling scheme and FAQs and State CET Cell www.mahacet.org. Certificate issued by any other board/civil surgeon will not be accepted.

Candidates have to submit all colored scanned copies of necessary original documents as mentioned in the list of documents. The documents have to be uploaded at the time of the registration process. Selected candidates should report to the allotted college with all requisite original documents, two sets of self-attested copies, and requisite fees. Their admission will be confirmed only after verification and fulfillment of all documents.

Candidates make a note

1. Registered for round 1 need not register again. However, candidates who had registered but not paid the fees will have to register again.

2. Choices filled during round 1 of preference filling will not be considered. Choice of round 1 will not be considered under any circumstances. Fresh choice submission by eligible candidates is necessary for consideration for seat allotment during round 2. Suppose candidates do not submit fresh choices during the choice filling period. In that case, the candidate will not be considered for seat allotment during round-2 and will retain the already allotted (joined) seat, if any.

3. Those candidates who want to participate in CAP round 2 for AIQ must fill fresh choices.

4. Joined in CAP round 1, who want to retain round 1 joined seat, should not fill new preference.

5. A fresh set of seats gets added to the system (seats available during round-1), if any, which is due to the latest approvals of the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India (increase in admission capacity of existing Ayurveda/Siddha/Unani/Homoeopathy College/ starting of new Ayurveda/Siddha/Unani/ Homoeopathy college). The candidates will be shown all choices (seats available and likely to be available) against vacant, virtual vacancies that are likely to get vacated during up-gradation.

6. The choices of candidates, who have submitted options for participation in round 2 during the reporting period for the round 1 seat allotment, would be initialized. Candidates must submit fresh choices online when the window is open for the same. The choices remaining after allotment, submitted before round 1, will stand canceled. Choices filled during round 1 of choice filling will not be considered.

7. All eligible candidates who desire to participate in round 2 of online allotment will have to submit fresh choices during the choice submission period and lock the choices during the locking period.

8. Once the candidates join round 2 seats from a minimum of 15% AIQ, they will not vacate from the allotted round 2 seat. However, if they are allotted a seat in round 2 in AIQ but have not joined, they can exit without joining the allotted seat to participate in other counselling.

9. In case candidates are allotted a seat during round 2 of the allotment process, the seat allotted during round 1 will be automatically canceled immediately, and the candidate will have to join the seat allotted during round 2 after obtaining an online generated relieving letter from college allotted in round 1.

10. If a candidate does not join the seat allotted during round 2 within the stipulated period and candidates are not eligible for further rounds of counseling either with the existing or new registration.

11. If candidates do not submit fresh choices during the choice submission period before round 2 of counselling, such a candidate will retain the already allotted seat if joined. If candidates are not allotted any seat from the submitted choices during round 2, they will retain their earlier allotted and joined.

12. If candidates were not allotted a seat during round 1 and did not fill out choice for round 2, they will not be considered for round 2.

13. Round 1 joined candidates who have not been upgraded in round 2 may resign their seat allotted in round 1 within 05 days (before 15th March 2022 ) of round 2 result announcement (availing free exit), failing which he will be considered as part of joined candidates for Round IInd and rules will apply accordingly.

14. Once the candidates join round 2 seats from a minimum of 15% AIQ, they will not vacate from allotted around 2 seats. However, if they are allotted a seat in round 2 in AIQ but have not joined, they can exit to participate in State Quota Counseling without joining the allotted seat.

15. If the candidate is allotted a seat during round 2 of the allotment process, the seat allotted during round 1 will automatically be canceled. The candidate will have to join the seat allotted during round 2.

16. Candidates having joined status at the end of round 2 will not be considered for State Quota Counseling as per the rules mentioned on the website.

17. Seats vacant after round 2 will be surrendered to State Quota. No subsequent rounds will be conducted for AIQ (15%) in the private unaided institute for undergraduate Ayurveda, Homeopathy, and Unani.
