Choice Filling Process For Round 1 Started For 372 PG AYUSH Seats: DME Gujarat

Gujarat: The choice-filling process for round 1 PG AYUSH (Homeopathy and Ayurveda) courses has begun for 372 seats. The Director of Medical Education (DME Gujarat) has announced this through a written notice. The seat matrix and merit list have also been released.

Detailed schedule –

1. 1st round choice filling – 24.1.2023 (4:00 pm)

2. Display of choices filled by candidates - 24.1.2023 (midnight)

3. Display of seat allotment – 25.1.2023 (noon)

4. Online payment or *payment of fees at designated branch axis bank – 25.1.2023 (noon) – 31.1.2023 (3:30 pm)

5. Reporting at help center – 30.1.2023 (10:00 am) – 1.2.2023 (4:00 pm)

The online allotment of seats is done based on merit cum choice. So it is merit cum choice-based allotment. Choice can be decided on the following criteria - Specific Branch, Specific Institute/Place, Government or SFI, and Choice based on fees.

In the choice filling of the second round, choices available for candidates/allotment of seats will be carried out as per the closure of the first round. Suppose the candidate cannot secure the allotted seat for whatsoever reasons. In that case, such a candidate will not be eligible for admission in the same subject in the same institute in the successive rounds of counseling. The detailed choice-filling process is enclosed in the notice below.

Payment of tuition fees can be made Online or by cash, or by Demand Draft in favor of “ACPUGMEC” payable at Gandhinagar at branches of Axis Bank approved by ACPPGMEC (List of Axis Bank branches is available on the admission committee’s website www.medadmgujarat.org) during banking hours (Closed on banking holidays).


Candidates have to make an appointment at the nearest help center. After making the appointment, they can download their allotment letter and fees challan from their account after login with the help of User ID & Password.

The following original documents have to be submitted –

1. Allotment Letter of ACPPGMEC

2. Tuition Fee Receipt showing the paid one term (6 months) fees for SFI Colleges / Rs. 20000 (annual fees) for Govt. Colleges at Axis Bank

3. All-year BAMS/BHMS mark sheets

4. 12 months internship completion certificate

5. Copy of AIA-PGET- 2022 mark sheet

6. Document showing the place of birth & Date of Birth & Indian Citizenship (School leaving Certificate/ Transfer Certificate/ Passport/ Birth Certificate)

7. Provisional / Permanent Registration of Gujarat Board of Ayurvedic & Unani System of Medicine OR Central Council of Indian medicine / Council of Homoeopathic System of Medicine Gujarat State OR Central Council of Homoeopathy (Renewal Registration certificate if previous Registration is expired)

8. For SEBC, ST and SC Category: Caste certificate issued by Competent Authorities of Gujarat State only

9. For SEBC Category: Non-creamy layer certificate (Parishistha ‘4’ in Gujarati/English) issued by Competent Authorities of Gujarat State only as per Govt. norms issued after Dt: 01/04/2020

10. For EWS (Economically Weaker Sections) Category: EWS certificate issued by Competent Authorities of Gujarat State only issued after Dt: 01/04/2020

11. Photo Copy of the Disability Certificate issued by a Competent Authority

The candidates note that they will have no right to admission if they fail to bring any original documents. They will also have to bring an envelope of 11x15 inches in size. The detail mentioned in the envelope is enclosed in the notice below.
