Gujarat: The Director of Medical Education (DME Gujarat) announced the counseling schedule for AYUSH-UG mop-up and stray vacancy round for 2022-23. The details issued by the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine have also been released.

Detailed schedule –

MOP-UP/3rd ROUND –

1. Registration & Payment - 23rd December 2022 to 27th December 2022 till 3:00 PM as per Server Time. Payment facility will be available till 6:00 PM of 27th December 2022 as per Server Time

2. Choice Filling/Locking – 24th December 2022 to 27th December 2022 till 11:55 PM as per Server Time. Choice Locking from 3:00 PM to 11:55 PM on 27th December 2022 as per Server Time

3. Processing of Seat Allotment – 28th December 2022 to 29th December 2022

4. Publication of Result – 30th December 2022

5. Reporting at the allotted institute - 31st December 2022 to 6th January 2023

STRAY VACANCY ROUND –

1. Publication of Vacant Seat - After 03:00 PM of 10th January 2023

2. Choice Filling/Locking – 11th January to 15th January 2023 Choice Locking from 3:00 PM to 11:55 PM on 15th January 2023 as per Server Time

Details issued –

1. List of eligible candidates will be forwarded to Deemed Universities on 18th January 2023 for the conduction of the Stray Vacancy Round.

2. Conduction of Stray Vacancy Round by the Deemed Universities from 18th January 2023 to 28th January 2023.

3. the Last date of admission in ASU&H-UG courses for the A.Y 2022-23 will be notified by NCISM/NCH.

The following details have been issued by National Commission for Indian System of Medicine - 

1. The cut-off date for admission into undergraduate courses of ASU systems for the academic session 2022-23 shall be 18th February 2023.

2. The date of Commencement of Graduate courses of ASU systems for the A.Y. 2022-23 shall be 20th February 2023. The academic calendar for the 2022-23 batch will be circulated in time.

3. All the counseling authorities are requested to schedule the counseling process of all the rounds appropriately so that the entire admission process shall be completed on or before 18th February 2022-23.

4. No authority can extend or modify the cut-off date of admissions decided by NCISM.

5. Admissions after the cut-off date shall not be approved.

6. Institutes shall be held responsible if the students face hardship due to admission irregularities (admission without NEET eligibility, admission without counseling, admission beyond permitted intake capacity, admission beyond cut-off data, etc.). In such case, students shall be discharged from the course, and the institute will be penalized as per the provision laid down per the sub-section (1)(a) and (f) of section 28; sub-section (3) of section 10 of NCISM Act 2020 Act, and the person responsible will be prosecuted as per the section of IPC concerned.
