DME Gujarat Begins Online Registration for PG Ayurveda, Homeopathy Courses 2024, Register NOW

Gujarat- Directorate of Medical Education (DME) Gujarat has begun the online registration for admission to the 1st year of Postgraduate (PG) Ayurveda and Homeopathy courses for the academic year 2024-25.

As per the schedule, the online registration and PIN purchase from the website of the Admission Committee for admission to the 1st year of PG Ayurveda and Homeopathy Courses 2024-25 is starting today i.e. on 13th September 2024 at 10:00 AM and will continue till 18th September 2024 at 05:00 PM. The online registration can be done from the official website of DME Gujarat.

While doing the online registration, the candidates will also have to deposit a security amount of Rs 2000 + Rs 10,000, i.e. a total of Rs 12,000.

For the academic year 2024-25, the schedule for online registration for admission to the 1st year of postgraduate Ayurveda and Homoeopathy courses, including Government, Management, and NRI seats in Government and Self Financed institutions of Gujarat State, as well as the 15% All India Quota seats in Self-Financed institutions for Ayurveda and Homoeopathy postgraduate courses, is as follows-

ELIGIBILITY

1 Candidates, who are eligible as per AIA-PGET-2024 as well as AYUSH Ministry, New Delhi and have passed BAMS or BHMS course from the universities of Gujarat state, are eligible for state quota seats as well as 15% All India Quota seats of SFI colleges.

2 Candidates, who are eligible as per AIA-PGET-2024 criteria as well as AYUSH Ministry, New Delhi, and have passed BAMS or BHMS From the universities of any other state of India are eligible only for 15% All India quota seats of SFI colleges.

On this, DME Gujarat has also released a brochure detailing the documents, process of online admission and other details for the candidates related to the admission to the 1st year of PG Ayurveda and Homeopathy Courses 2024-25.

DOCUMENTS

The list of original documents to be uploaded by the candidates is mentioned below-

1 All-year attempt-wise BAMS / BHMS mark sheets.

2 Copy of the AIAPGET Mark sheet of the current academic year.

3 Internship completion certificate on or before 31/07/2024.

4 Provisional Registration of Gujarat Board of Ayurvedic & Unani System of Medicine/ Council of Homoeopathic System of Medicine Gujarat State OR Central Council of Indian Medicine / Central Council of Homoeopathy ((In case of fresh candidates only who have just completed their internship)/Permanent Registration of Gujarat Board of Ayurvedic & Unani System of Medicine/ Council of Homoeopathic System of Medicine Gujarat State OR Central Council of Indian medicine / Central Council of Homoeopathy (In case of old pass out candidates) with renewal receipt where is applicable.

5 Documents showing Date & Place of Birth & Indian Citizenship (School leaving Certificate/ Transfer Certificate/ Passport/ Birth Certificate).

6 For SEBC, ST and SC Category: Caste certificate issued by Competent Authorities of Gujarat State only.

7 For SEBC Category: Non-creamy layer certificate (Parishistha ‘4’ in Gujarati/English) issued by Competent Authorities of Gujarat State only dated on or after 01/04/2022. Certificate should be valid for 2024-2025.

8 For EWS (Economically Weaker Sections) Category: EWS certificate issued by Competent Authorities of Gujarat State only dated on or after 01/04/2022. Certificate should be valid for 2024-2025.

9 For PwD Candidates: Disability Certificate issued by Competent Authority.

10 Copy of Passport - if Citizenship is Dual/ Foreign.

11 Allotment Letter of ACPPGMEC.

12 Tuition Fee Receipt showing the paid one term (6 months) fees for Self-financed institute / one-year fees for Government institute at designated Axis Bank branch.

The steps for online registration & document upload are as follows-

STEP 1- PIN Purchase.

STEP 2- Filling out AIAPGET details and authentication through’ PIN.

STEP 3- Fill out the Candidate's details and documents upload.

STEP 4- Password generation.

STEP 5- Confirmation of filled details.

STEP 6- Take a Printout of Registration Details.

PREPARATION AND PUBLICATION OF MERIT LIST

1 After the registration process, ACPPGMEC will prepare and declare a merit list of all eligible candidates.

2 Candidate needs to verify merit number and category as mentioned in registration details.

ONLINE CHOICE FILLING & ALLOTMENT OF ADMISSION

1 After merit declaration, the choice filling will be initiated online for each round.

2 After the choice-filling period is over, the ACPPGMEC will process for allotment of seats and declare the status of allotment on the website.

3 The candidates can view their status of allotment by logging into their User ID.
