DME Gujarat issues notice on Round 2 BAMS, BHMS admissions
Gujarat: The Director of Medical Education (DME Gujarat) informed about admission to Undergraduate Ayurveda and Homeopathy courses for 2022-23.
As per the notice, choice filling facility and seat matrix are available for all Ayurveda and Homeopathy graduate colleges, but before the due time of seat allotment to the college which has permission from the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM)/ National Commission for Homeopathy (NCH), Ministry of AYUSH, New Delhi. Also, if the university's affiliation is found, only then will the seat be allotted.
The candidates can fill in the choices till 21st November 2022, and the choices will be displayed till 21st November 2022, midnight. This was announced in the previous notification.
Process for participation in round 2 –
1. All the candidates, including those in the Merit List of ACPUGMEC, can participate in the 2nd round, irrespective of the admission status of the candidate of round 1.
2. According to the Merit Closure Rule of UG Admission Rules, in round 2, the candidate will not be offered admission to the seats available according to their merit in the allotment process of round 1.
3. Candidates who have not taken part in round 1 in ACPUGMEC and participate directly in round 2 will also not be offered admission to the seats available according to their merit in the allotment process of round 1.
4. To participate in round 2, the candidates must log in to the website www.medadmgujarat.org using their User ID and Password to give online consent for participation in the second round.
5. If the candidate, who has confirmed the admission to round 1 and has given consent to participate in round 2, has been allotted a different seat, the admission to round 1 will get automatically canceled.
6. If candidates participate in round 2 of ACPUGMEC and their admission is not upgraded, then their admission to round 1 will be continued.
7. The candidate who has participated or not participated in round 2, the admission of round 1 can also be upgraded in the same college by change of admission category (i.e., ST / SC / SEBC / EWS to General category or PwD to non-PwD seat) or change of quota (General Quota to Local Quota {in case of NHL & SMIMER}), there is no need to report the help center for confirmation of admission.
6222 seats are allotted for admission to Undergraduate Ayurveda, and Homeopathy courses, of which 6184 are general seats and 38 are PwD seats.
