KEA allocates 25 Seats In Newly added Colleges For UG AYUSH Courses
Karnataka: Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has allotted 25 seats in newly joined colleges for Non - Hyderabad - Karnataka Quota and Hyderabad - Karnataka Quota for UG AYUSH courses.
As per the notice, Non - Hyderabad - Karnataka Quota has 23 seats and Hyderabad - Karnataka Quota has 2 seats allotted. The detailed seat matrix is enclosed in the notice below.
The colleges included are –
1. BLDE'S AVS Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya, Hospital & Research Centre, Vijayapur
2. Sri Bidaruru Institute of Ayurveda and Hospital, Balaganur Road, Gadag
Both Non - Hyderabad - Karnataka Quota and Hyderabad - Karnataka Quota has an intake capacity of 100 seats. BLDE'S AVS Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya, Hospital & Research Centre, Vijayapur, has 40 intake capacity for both quotas and Sri Bidaruru Institute of Ayurveda and Hospital, Balaganur Road, Gadag, has 60 intakes for both quotas.
The seat matrix is subject to change either way as per the direction of the Government of Karnataka occasionally. Karnataka Examination Authority allotted all India quota seats.
Recently KEA has released the revised schedule for the mop-up round for UG AYUSH courses.
Detailed schedule –
1. Fresh Option Entry by Eligible Candidates - up to 10.00 am on 27-02-2023
2. Publication of Mop-up Round Seat Allotment Results - 27-02-2023 after 4.00 pm
3. Payment of fees - 28-02-2023 to 01-03-2023 (Banking Hours)
4. Downloading of Admission Orders - 28-02-2023 to 02-03-2023
5. Last date for reporting to the colleges - 03-03-2023 before 5.30 pm
Candidates have to enter the options afresh. The earlier entered options will not be considered for allotment. Candidates are advised to enter only such options they want to join if the seat is allotted. Candidates with a seat in any discipline must pay the prescribed fees and compulsorily report to the colleges on or before the last date mentioned in the admission order.
Karnataka Examinations Authority is governed by the Governing Council headed by the Honourable Minister of Higher Education. The Government of Karnataka established Common Entrance Test Cell in the year 1994 for conducting entrance tests and determining the eligibility/merit for admission to the first year or first semester of full-time professional courses for Government share of seats in Medical, Dental, Indian systems of medicine and Homeopathy, Engineering / Architecture Courses, Farm Science, i.e., B.sc. (Agriculture), B.sc. (Sericulture), B.sc (Horticulture), B.sc(Forestry), B.sc. Agri Bio Tech, BHSc.(Home Science), B.Tech (Agri. Engg), B.Tech (Food Technology), B.Tech (Dairy Tech), B.FSc.(Fisheries), B.Tech (Food Science & Tech)., B.Sc. (Agri. Marketing & Co-Op), B-Pharma, Pharma-D Courses.
