Maha CET Cell Announces Schedule For Online Stray Vacancy Rounds 4, 5 For BAMS, BHMS, BUMS Courses
Maharashtra: Maha CET Cell has announced the schedule for online stray vacancy rounds 4 and 5 for government/government-aided colleges for BAMS, BHMS, and BUMS courses.
As per the notice, the candidates of round 4 must join the allotted college by 2.3.2022, up to 5.30 pm, with all original documents & requisite fees. At the end of online stray vacancy round 3, there were few vacant seats in government/government-aided colleges, so the competent authority decided to conduct online stray vacancy round 4 for vacant seats.
Suppose seats remain vacant after online, stray vacancy round 4. The vacant seats will be filed in round 5, declared on 2.3.2023. The selected candidates of round 5 will have to join from 3.3.2023 till 4.3.2023. The candidates note that the cutoff date for admission to Ayush courses, as declared by the Ministry of Ayush, is 4.3.2023.
Eligibility for UG AYUSH courses –
1. The candidates should be NEET UG qualified.
2. The candidates must be Maharashtra residents.
3. The candidates must have passed the 10+2 or equivalent examinations with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as compulsory courses from a recognized educational institution.
4. The candidates must be 17 years of age as of 31.12.2022.
The Government of Maharashtra has established a State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET CELL) under Admission Regulating Authority (ARA) as per the provision in Section 10 of the Maharashtra Unaided Private Professional Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions and Fees) Act, 2015.
The Medical Dialogues team recently reported that Maha CET Cell informed the candidates that the MCC portal would publish the candidate-wise refund details for NEET PG and NEET MDS on or before 28.2.2023. The State CET Cell portal will announce the refund dates accordingly. After completing PG/MDS 22 counseling, the State CET Cell has commenced the refund of the security deposit to eligible PG/MDS 22 candidates. The security amount will be refunded to the same account/ card from where the candidate initially deposited the security amount. The candidates need to keep the account active for the refund process.
