Maha CET Cell Releases Schedule For Special Mop Up Round For BAMS, BHMS, BUMS Courses
Maha CET Cell has released a special mop-up round schedule for BAMS, BHMS, and BUMS courses. The list of newly added BAMS colleges has also been released.

1. Display of Provisional Seat Matrix – 21.1.2023
2. Online Preference/ Choice Form Filling Process of eligible candidates Group B (BAMS/ BHMS/ BUMS Courses) – 22.1.2023 - 25.1.2023 (11:59 pm)
3. Declaration of Selection List for Special MOP UP Round (BAMS/BHMS/BUMS) Group B – 27.1.2023
4. Physical Joining and Filling of Status Retention form with All Original Documents & Requisite Fees by DD/Cheque for (BAMS/BHMS/BUMS courses) – 28.1.2023 - 1.2.2023 (5:00 pm)
The candidates who have filled in the preferences for Group -B courses can fill in new/fresh preferences, including choice for newly permitted colleges in the special mop-up round, by using their login id and password on the website www.mahacet.org.
Candidates who have not reported/canceled the allotted college of the mop-up round should fill in choices during this round. If candidates fail to fill the preference during this round, they will not be considered for allotment. Those who have joined and filled status retention during the mop-up round and now wish to cancel the status retention form and participate in this round will fill in the choice during this round.
Candidates who have filled out the status retention form during the mop-up round should note if they do not fill preference during this round, their status retention status will not be canceled. Those who have joined and not filled status retention can also fill in choices in this round. If any such candidates fail to fill choices during this round, it will be deemed that such candidates do not want betterment, and the seat will be auto-retained.
Candidates not allotted any college up to the mop-up round can also fill in choices in this round. If any such candidates fail to fill in new choices, the choices filled in during the mop-up round will be considered for allotment.
Candidates who have joined status in AIQ (State) and those whose name appears in the list of not eligible candidates for State counseling published by AACCC will not be eligible for this round and any subsequent round. Candidates who have filled the status retention form up to CAP round 2 are not eligible for this and subsequent rounds.
All candidates should note that it is mandatory to join the allotted college during this round. Candidates selected during this round will not be eligible for any subsequent round(s), and there will be no further betterment in subsequent rounds.

The admission process of NEET-UG-2022 (Group - B) courses has started, and the mop-up round of admission was completed on 11.1.2023. Preferences for newly permitted colleges were not included during the preference-filling process conducted previously.
As per the information brochure for NEET UG 2022, the preferences filled during the mop-up round were to be used for subsequent rounds. However, because of the newly permitted colleges and special mop-up round being conducted by AACCC, it has been decided to conduct a special mop-up round for allocation to newly permitted colleges and available vacant seats. Accordingly, it is decided to allow new preferences for the special mop-up round in state counseling.
