Maha CET Cell releases Selection List, provisional seat matrix for mop up round 1 counselling for BAMS, BHMS, BUMS Courses

Maharashtra:  Maha CET Cell has released the selection list and provisional seat matrix for Government/Government Aided/Corp./Private/Minority Colleges for Mop-Up round 1 for UG AYUSH courses.

The last date of joining and to fill the status retention form to the respective college is 20th April 2022 up to 5 pm (including holiday). The candidates will have to submit all the original documents and pay the requisite fees to the selected college within the stipulated time. Failing this, this selection will be cancelled.

Admitting college will verify the original documents and ascertain the eligibility of the candidates as per the NEET(UG)-2021 brochure. This seat allotment is conducted on the seats that are approved/permitted by the respective Central Council and affiliated to MUHS, Nashik only.

Candidates who have joined through AI/Deemed Quota in First/Second Round/Mop-Up of AIQ Counseling are not eligible.

The seat matrix has also been released. Maha CET Cell has clarified that seat position is subject to change as per information from Institute/ MUHS, Nashik/Respective Councils/Order of Hon'ble Courts/ State/ Central Government. The government/CET Cell Commissioner may change this seat position before the allotment of seats in CAP rounds. Orphan Seats are distributed as per Women & Child Development Department GR. NO. Orphan-2018/CR 182/KA-03 dated 31st August 2021.

If the candidates are allotted a seat in the Mop-Up round, they must join the allotted seat, failing which, the security money will be forfeited, and they will become ineligible for admission in UG AYUSH courses. There is no seat surrender/withdrawal provision if a candidate is allotted a seat in the Mop-Up round.

The AYUSH Counselling is organized by the Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER). Admission to Ayush courses is based on NEET Scorecard, and only NEET qualified candidates can participate in the Counselling process. The scorecard of NEET-UG is accepted by the various Government and Private Ayurvedic and Homoeopathic.
