The Ministry of AYUSH has informed about the central nomination for MD Unani, MD Homeopathy, and MD Ayurveda courses for 2022-23.

The following colleges are included in the nominations –

1. MD Unani - NIUM Bangalore and Government Nizamia Tibbi College, Hyderabad

2. MD Homeopathy - NIH, Kolkata

3. MD Ayurveda - NIA-Jaipur, ITRA-Jamnagar and GAC- Guwahati

Per the notice, MD/PG Scheme Guidelines on Central Government Nomination to MD courses for the Session 2022-23 issued by this Ministry vide letter No.Y-11030/14/2021-EP-III dated 18.10.2022. Regarding the scheme provisions, the Competent Authority has nominated the above-mentioned eligible Government Officials for admission in the above courses during 2022-23.

The following are the seats reserved against for Central Government Nominees –

1. MD Unani - NIUM Bangalore (four seats) and Govt.Nizamia Tibbi College, Hyderabad (Three seats in Advia subject)

2. MD Homeopathy – NIH, Kolkata (six-seat)

3. MD Ayurveda - NIA-Jaipur (14 seats), ITRA-Jamnagar (03 seats) and GAC-Guwahati (02 seats)

All nominated candidates are directed to report to the respective institutes within the time frame of admission to the above institutions. The above Central Government Nominees may be allotted the subjects nominated for as per availability of subject in the concerned institute during the session 2022-23, keeping in mind the preference of deficient subjects opted by them and their seniority.

These Nominated candidates may be given admission only after obtaining a certificate from them to the effect that they are permanent Government Servants and not on a contract basis. The above nominations have been made based on the Deficiency Status available in the Ministry's records as well as the deficiency submitted by State/UTs.

All the above institutions are requested to admit nominated Central Government Nominees (CGN) as per provisions of the CGN guidelines, 2022-23, quoted above. They may also ensure that no nominee/candidate is provided with the subject available in their respective State/UT.

The vacant seats in Central Pool under the Central Government Nomination Scheme for MD (Unani) for the academic session 2022-23 shall be filled by AACCC of the Ministry of Ayush as per the provision of the Scheme. All the institutes are requested to inform the data of vacant seats AACCC, Ministry of Ayush (aaccc-admn-ayush@gov.in )so that the vacant seat can be filled in time.
