NTRUHS begins round 1 web options for UG AYUSH admissions 2025, details

Andhra Pradesh: Dr NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS), Andhra Pradesh, has announced the first phase of web-based counselling for admission into BAMS, BHMS, and BUMS courses under the Competent Authority Quota for the academic year 2025-26.

The said counselling applies to Government, Private Unaided Non-Minority, and Aided AYUSH colleges affiliated with NTRUHS across the state

According to the notification issued by the Dr NTRUHS in this regard, the web options can be exercised from 7:00 PM on October 10, 2025, to 6:00 PM on October 13, 2025, through the websites. Only those candidates whose names appear in the merit list released on October 10, 2025, are eligible to participate in this phase of counselling.

UNIVERSITY FEES

₹8,600 to be paid online through the payment gateway to download the allotment letter.

TUITION FEES

₹24,500 per year for BHMS, BAMS, and BUMS courses.

BUMS COURSE ELIGIBILITY

1 A candidate seeking admission to main Kamil-E-Tib-Wa-Jarahat (Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery –B.U.M.S.) The course must have passed.2 The candidates shall have passed 10+2 or its equivalent with subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Bio-Technology. The candidates must secure a minimum qualifying percentile in NEET 2025 is compulsory.

3 Candidate shall have passed Urdu or Arabic or Persian language as on the subject in the 10th standard or in 12th standard.

4 A candidate who is not covered under clause (c) shall have to study the Urdu language along with Arabic and Mantiq Wa-Falsafa (Logic and Philosophy) as a subject during the First professional B.U.M.S session.

5 The syllabus is applicable to the students admitted in the academic year session 2021-22 onwards for 5 years or until further notification by NCISM, whichever is earlier.

REPORTING AT THE ALLOTTED COLLEGE

1 Candidates will receive the message to their registered mobile after allotment of a seat, if a seat is allotted. The candidates are instructed to visit the website for the status of allotment after the closure of the web option

2 Candidates who have been allotted a seat shall report at the allotted college within the reporting schedule by downloading the allotment order on payment of the University fee of Rs 8,600/-.

3 Candidates shall check their final allotment, take print out of allotment letter from the web and report to the respective colleges on or before the date specified on the allotment letter with all original certificates and pay the tuition fee to complete the admission process, failing which the candidate will forfeit the admission.

4 Verification of original certificates will be conducted at the college of admission and in case of any discrepancy, the provisional allotment will be cancelled and action will be initiated as per University regulations.

5 If not allotted any seat in Phase-I: Candidates who have not been allotted any seat in the Phase-I of counselling will be considered for available vacancies in Phase-II of counselling with fresh Options.

6 If not reported at the allotted college: The candidates who do not report at the allotted college in the Phase-I counselling will be allowed to participate in the Phase-II counselling with fresh options, provided that the candidates have no right to claim the earlier Phase-I allotted seat again under Phase-II counselling.

7 If the joined candidates of Phase-I slide to other colleges during Phase-II of counselling, the Original Certificates of such candidates will be sent to the newly allotted college by the previous college after closure of admissions. The candidate has to report at the re-allotted college with downloaded allotment order along with Custodian Certificate issued by the previous college under Dr. NTR UHS and to pay the Tuition Fee to complete the admission process, failing which the candidate will forfeit the admission.

8 Candidates getting upgraded in Phase-II of Counselling will not have any claim on previous allotments, i.e., Phase-I seat, as the vacancies resulting from upgradation are filled within this phase by the next candidate in the merit list with rules of reservation as applicable.

ALLOTMENTS UNDER SPECIAL CATEGORY

1 The seats reserved under the special category, i.e. CAP, will also be filled as and when the prioritized merit list is received from the authorities concerned.

3 The unallotted seats under special categories will be added to respective categories, since the seats under special categories are Horizontal Reservations.

INSTRUCTIONS TO THE CANDIDATES

1 Candidates whose names are found in the Final list of In-eligible candidates circulated by AACCC are not eligible to participate under this notification.

2 Names of the candidates shared by AACCC, New Delhi, are also not eligible to participate under this notification.

3 If it is found that an ineligible candidate has opted, the candidate of such a candidate will not be considered for allotments.

4 Area-wise Seat Matrix is displayed on the University Website for the information of the students to exercise their options.

5 A candidate can exercise any number of options. The students have to opt clearly for the course in which they are desirous to join.

6 Candidates are instructed to be careful while exercising options on the Web and take a printout of the saved options.

Meanwhile, Dr NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS), has announced the physical verification of original certificates for candidates who have applied under the National Cadet Corps (NCC) category for admission into UG AYUSH courses (BAMS, BHMS, and BUMS) under the Competent Authority Quota for the academic year 2025–26.

According to the notification issued by the Dr NTRUHS in this regard, the physical verification will be conducted on Monday, October 13, 2025, from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Candidates must report along with their parent or guardian without fail.

Candidates are required to bring all original certificates along with three sets of photocopies. The list of required documents includes-

1 10th Class and Intermediate (Plus Two) Marks Memos.

2 UG NEET–2025 Rank Card.

3 All NCC Certificates.

4 Camp/University Certificates.

5 A declaration form duly signed by both the cadet and parent (as per the attached proforma)

Moreover, Dr NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS), has released the provisional merit list for admission into Undergraduate AYUSH courses such as BAMS, BHMS, and BUMS under the Competent Authority Quota for the academic year 2025–26.

The list includes the names of eligible candidates who applied for AYUSH admissions through NTRUHS and have qualified in NEET 2025. Candidates who appeared in the merit list are now eligible to participate in the first phase of web-based counselling, as per the schedule already announced by the university.

The merit list includes candidates eligible for BAMS, BHMS, and BUMS seats across government and private non-minority colleges in Andhra Pradesh. It specifies the NEET Rank, NEET Score, and Application Number of each candidate, along with their Category and Gender. Only candidates whose names appear in this provisional list are permitted to exercise web options during the counselling period through the official websites. The list serves as the basis for seat allotment into BAMS, BHMS, and BUMS colleges under the Competent Authority Quota.

The university has also clarified that inclusion in the merit list does not guarantee admission, and the final seat allotment will depend on the availability of seats, merit rank, and reservation rules as per Government of Andhra Pradesh norms.
