OJEE Announces Final Seat Matrix For Spot Round Counseling For BAMS, BHMS Courses

Odisha: Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) has announced the final updated seat matrix for spot round counseling BAMS and BHMS courses.

236 seats are available for spot-round counseling BAMS and BHMS courses.

The candidates, who get admission in the spot round, will have to report to the respective institutions immediately by submitting a copy of the Allotment-cum-Admission letter duly signed by the OJEE authority. Admission will be declared closed as and when seats are exhausted.

The counseling process is being carried out today (9.2.2023) and tomorrow (10.2.2023) at OJEE CELL, Gandamunda, Bhubaneswar.

NEET (UG) 2022 All India Rank holders satisfying the qualifying marks criterion (as per relevant notifications of AYUSH) are eligible to participate. However, candidates, who have been admitted to any Institute through All India Counseling by AACCC or through OJEE Counseling at the end of 2nd round (including upgradation), are not eligible to participate in the OJEE spot counseling.

Process of allotment and provisional admission –

1. Admission will be made strictly as per merit.

2. Candidates willing to participate in this counseling round should report at the counseling hall at the scheduled time as per their category/rank. Only one person (guardian) can accompany the candidate to the counseling hall.

3. Candidates must put their signatures on an attendance sheet in the sitting hall.

4. Candidates coming after the scheduled time will be allotted a seat/college from the balance of seats available, considering merit.

5. Provisional allotment/ admission will be made at the venue of spot counseling. The candidates must bring all the original certificates for verification, failing which no admission will be made, and candidature will be rejected.


6. Candidates have to deposit the required fees at the counseling spot positively, failing which no allotment will be made, and the candidature will be rejected.

7. Candidates admitted in any category in this round will not be allowed any further change.

8. During spot counseling, if a candidate vacates any seat due to admission to another vacant seat, the same seat will be displayed then. It will be available for admission for the next candidate onwards.

Consequent upon the provisions of the Odisha Professional Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission and Fixation of Fee) Act,2007, the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination Committee was formed on the recommendation of the Policy Planning Body with due approval by the Government (Skill Development and Technical Education Department ) to hold Common Entrance Examinations and conduct counseling process for admission to various Undergraduate / Postgraduate Level Professional Courses in the State of Odisha.
