Odisha: Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) postponed allotment of the auto-upgradation round for BAMS and BHMS courses.

As per the notice, the allotment of the auto-upgradation round of OJEE counseling for admission in BAMS and BHMS courses for 2022-23 was scheduled to be published on 27.12.2022, is postponed, and will be published later. It will be published tentatively in the 1st week of January 2023. The candidates need to keep track of the website https://ojee.nic.in/notices/ for further updates.

The notice stated, "This is for the information of all concerned that the allotment of Auto-Upgradation Round of OJEE Counselling for admission in BAMS / BHMS Courses for 2022-23, scheduled to be published on 27.12.2022, is hereby postponed and will be published later (tentatively, in the 1st week of January 2023)".

In the first round, all registered candidates are provisionally allotted seats based on their merit (NEET Rank) and choices exercised. Reservations shall be considered as per the candidate's declaration during registration.

Eligibility Criteria -

1.Candidates interested in the BAMS/BHMS counseling must qualify for the NEET (UG)-2022 with a valid rank.

2.The candidate must be at least 17 years of age as of 31.12.2022.

3.For State Quota seats, the candidate's parents must be permanent natives of Odisha. During certificate verification, every candidate must produce a Resident / Nativity certificate (Form No.-III, See Rule-3 of Govt. of Odisha). However, there will be no requirement for any domicile certificate for allotment and admission in AIQ seats of Private Institutions.

4.The candidate must have passed +2 Sc. in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English individually. They must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology at +2 Sc. level for General Candidate (GE). The criterion of minimum marks for eligibility is relaxed to 40% for SC/ST candidates.

Consequent upon the provisions of the Odisha Professional Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission and Fixation of Fee) Act,2007, the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination Committee was formed on the recommendation of the Policy Planning Body with due approval by the Government (Skill Development and Technical Education Department ) to hold Common Entrance Examinations and conduct counseling process for admission to various Undergraduate / Postgraduate Level Professional Courses in the State of Odisha.

The endeavor of the OJEE Committee has always been directed towards conducting Entrance Examinations and providing a fair, transparent, and single-window admission process for various professional Undergraduate and Postgraduate level courses in the State, adopting effective state-of-the-art technology.
