WBMCC allocates 432 Seats For Special Mop Up Round For UG AYUSH Courses

West Bengal: The West Bengal Main Computerized Counselling (WBMCC) has released the seat matrix and cumulative list of candidates eligible for choice filling in the special mop-up round for UG AYUSH courses.

432 seats are available for the special mop-up round for UG AYUSH courses. BHMS has the maximum number of seats allotted, followed by BAMS and BUMS.

The cumulative list of candidates eligible for choice filling in the special mop-up round has also been released. The detailed list is enclosed in the notice below. The list includes NEET AIR, Name, Domicile Status, Category, and PC Status.

The registration process began on 27.1.2023, 4:00 pm and continued till 29.1.2023, midnight. The verification process of registered non-verified candidates was carried out on 30.1.2023 and 31.1.2023 from 11 am to 4 pm at the verification venue (Medical College Kolkata / IPGMER Kolkata as per the acknowledgement slip).

The successfully verified candidates can do the choice filling from 7 pm of 31.1.2023 till midnight of 1.2.2023. On 3.2.2023, by 4:00 pm, the result will be published. The admission process will be carried out on 4.2.2023, 6.2.2023, and 7.1.2023 from 10 am to 4 pm.

Given the updated schedule published by the Ayush Admissions Central Counselling Committee, Ministry of Ayush, Govt. of India, and as many UG Ayush seats are still vacant, it has been decided to open registration once again for an eligible candidate out of NEET UG 2022, who have yet not registered for WB UG Ayush counselling 2022 in special mop up round.

The West Bengal University of Health Sciences came into existence on 1st January. From 2003 the University took up the responsibility of Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Post-doctoral courses, including the Ph. D program in Modern System of Medicine, Homoeopathic System of Medicine, Ayurvedic System of Medicine, Unani System of Medicine, Nursing Education, Pharmacy Education, Dental Education, Physiotherapy, Speech Therapy, and Education on other paramedical courses like Occupational Therapy and Prosthetics-Orthotics in the state of West Bengal.
