WBMCC Announces Schedule For Special Mop-Up, Stray Round UG Ayush Courses

West Bengal: The West Bengal Main Computerized Counselling (WBMCC) has announced the schedule for special mop-up and stray round counselling UG Ayush courses 2022-23.

Special mop-up round -

The registration process is to begin today (27.1.2023), 4:00 pm and continue till 29.1.2023, midnight. The verification process of registered non-verified candidates will be carried out on 30.1.2023 and 31.1.2023 from 11 am to 4 pm at the verification venue (Medical College Kolkata / IPGMER Kolkata as per the acknowledgement slip). The verified candidates and seat matrix list will be published on 31.1.2023, 6:00 pm.

The successfully verified candidates can do the choice filling from 7 pm of 31.1.2023 till midnight of 1.2.2023. On 3.2.2023, by 4:00 pm, the result will be published. The admission process will be carried out on 4.2.2023, 6.2.2023, and 7.1.2023 from 10 am to 4 pm.

Stray vacancy round –

Vacant seats and eligibility list will be published on 8.2.2023, 4:00 pm. On 10.2.2023 (shall be detailed soon in the counselling website), colleges having vacant seats by physically reporting by the eligible candidate as per inter se merit rank for stray vacancy round 1.

On 13.2.2023, at 4:00 pm, vacant seats and an eligibility list will be published for stray vacancy round 2. On 17.2.2023 (shall be detailed soon on the counselling website), colleges having vacant seats by physical reporting by the eligible candidate as per inter se merit rank for stray vacancy round 2.

As per WBMCC, given the updated schedule published by the Ayush Admissions Central Counselling Committee, Ministry of Ayush, Govt. of India, and as many UG Ayush seats are still vacant, it has been decided to open registration once again for an eligible candidate out of NEET UG 2022, who have yet not registered for WB UG Ayush counselling 2022 in special mop up round.

The candidates note that stray vacancy round, no new registration is required. The seat conversion rules for mop-up shall be followed in stray vacancy round 1 and round 2 as well. Those who are excluded by UG Ayush counselling central committee and published on their website and those who have already been admitted to Medical / Dental seat cannot participate.

The West Bengal University of Health Sciences came into existence on 1st January. From 2003 the University took up the responsibility of Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Post-doctoral courses, including the Ph. D program in Modern System of Medicine, Homoeopathic System of Medicine, Ayurvedic System of Medicine, Unani System of Medicine, Nursing Education, Pharmacy Education, Dental Education, Physiotherapy, Speech Therapy, and Education on other paramedical courses like Occupational Therapy and Prosthetics-Orthotics in the state of West Bengal.
