BFUHS publishes round 2 counselling schedule for BSc Para Medical Courses, Post Basic Diploma courses
Faridkot: Through a recent notice, the Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), has released Round 2 counselling dates for BSc Para Medical Courses, Post Basic Diploma courses admissions.
2nd round of Physical Counseling for admission to B.Sc. Para Medical Courses, session 2021 i.e. B.Sc.Anesthesia Technology, B.Sc. Intensive Care Unit Techniques, B.Sc. Operation Theatre Technology, B.Sc. Medical Radiography & Imaging Techniques, B.Sc. Radiotherapy Technology, B.Sc. Optometry, B.Sc. Dialysis Techniques, B.Sc. Orthopedic Assistant & Plaster Techniques, B.Sc. Emergency Responder, B.Sc. Cardiac Technology will be held on 29.11.2021 (11:00am) at Auditorium, Guru Gobind Singh Medical College, Faridkot, the notice has clearly mentioned.
2nd Round of Physical Counseling for admission to Post Basic Diploma in Oncology Nursing and Neonatal Nursing Courses will be held on 29/11/2021 (11:00 am) at University College of Nursing, Faridkot, the notice further adds.
Note: The Provisionally selected candidates shall pay the fee on the spot at the counseling venue in the shape of Bank Demand Draft in the favour of Registrar, BFUHS, payable at Faridkot.

Baba Farid University of Health Sciences was established under an Act passed by the Legislature of the State of Punjab in July, 1998. The mission of the University is to create an intellectual, academic and physical environment, conducive to free flow of ideas and exchange of information between various faculties of the University and between this University and other Universities of Health Sciences in the country and abroad,thereby opening a window to the world for the health professionals, health planners, health managers, biomedical and social scientists and educators in health sciences of the country .
Established in the memory of great Sufi Saint Baba Farid by Punjab govt. in July, 1998 by an Act of the State Legislature.
Fifth of its kind in India, First in Northern India- Punjab Govt. deserves the credit of establishing it.Due to inadequacy of health professionals(in quantity & quality) the need was imminent. Such a University is expected to be a "Pace-setter" – in developing appropriate modes & models of Health Care. University committed to providing Community oriented need based education & Training programmes for Health professionals.
