The media report from Tribune suggests that the management has decided to reduce the mess, electricity and other college charges to Rs 20000 monthly, effective June 2023. Also, the tuition fee will be charged as per Government norms. The mess committee will compromise 2 students from each batch.

Rs 3.78 lakh every year was being charged as a hostel fee. As per reports, this fee was 3 times more than the fee fixed by Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS). A copy of the deficiency report has been sent to the Punjab government.

MBBS admissions in this college are based on NEET UG, which is conducted on an India basis once a year. BFUHS is the counselling authority for MBBS admission in the college.
