COVID 19: PGIMER defers entrance exams for MD, MS, DM, MCh, MD Hospital Administration, MPH, PGDPHM July 2020
Chandigarh: Through a recent notification, the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh (PGIMER) has informed about the postponement of MD, MS, DM, MCh, MD Hospital Administration, MPH, PGDPHM July 2020 entrance examinations.
Candidates who have applied for these PG medical courses with the institute can view the belowmentioned details of the said notice as uploaded on the official website of PGIMER.
Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the entrance examination for DM/M.Ch, MD (Hospital Administration), Master of Public Health (MPH) & Public Health Management ( PGDPHM) courses for July 2020 session which was scheduled to be held on 07.06.2020 has been postponed. The revised dates will be intimated shortly, for further updates applicants are advised to visit the website i.e. www.pgimer.edu.in regularly.

2. *As per provisions (Chapter VI Clause 32) of the Rights of the Persons with Benchmark Disabilities Act 2016, five percent seats shall be allotted on a horizontal basis. The disability certificate of candidates should be issued by the authorized Medical Board of the State Govt./Govt. of India or any other Competent authority authorized in this regard by the state/Government of India.
3. *In the case of Rural Area candidates, five percent seats shall be allotted on a horizontal basis.
4. Sponsored/Foreign National Seats will not be converted against any other category.
