CEE issues notice on Special Stray Vacancy allotment for BDS admissions in Kerala, Details
Kerala: Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) has released details related to special stray vacancy allotment for the BDS course.
Special vacancy filling allotment schedule –
1. Special vacancy filling allotment (final) publication – 11th May 2022
2. Joining time to allotted colleges after paying the fees/balance fee (if applicable) as shown in the allotment memo – 12th May 2022 – 13th May 2022, up to 2:00 pm
3. Time to update the details of admitted candidates through OAMS - 13th May 2022, 3:00 pm
Vacancies, if any exist/arise in the BDS course after this special vacancy filling allotment, will be filled up through the stray vacancy filling allotment procedure. Details of stray vacancy filling allotment will be published later. The candidates can check the details related to allotment and government orders on Commissioner for Entrance Examinations website www.cee.kerala.gov.in.
CEE has notified that a special vacancy filling allotment is conducted only for existing vacancies. College transfer will not be allowed in this phase of allotment. The allotment received through Special Vacancy Filling Allotment cannot be changed later.
The candidates who do not join within the stipulated time after getting an allotment and those candidates who quit seats after taking admission through a special vacancy filling allotment will not get their registration fee refunded. It will be considered a penalty.
Non-eligibility criteria -
1. Candidates who are allotted seats in MBBS/BDS course in AIQ will not be eligible to apply.
2. The candidates admitted in medical and medical allied courses through previous allotments conducted by CEE and those who were allotted a seat in a medical or medical allied course through the respective Mop-Up allotments or subsequent ones stray vacancy filling allotment are not eligible to apply.
The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations conducts the counselling process for admission to the BDS course based on the NEET UG exam. Candidates who have qualified for the NEET-UG can appear for counselling for admission in BDS course.
