DCI Directs dental Colleges To Upload Details Of admitted BDS Candidates on DCI website, details
New Delhi: The Dental Council of India (DCI) directed the BDS colleges to upload the details of candidates admitted to their dental institution for 2022-23 on the DCI website.
The MCC has issued a revised counseling schedule for NEET UG - 2022 (available on the DCI Website) for All India Quota / Deemed / Central / AIIMS / JIPMER Seats/ State Quota, and the last date of joining is 21st December 2022 for the academic year 2022-23. As per the revised schedule issued by the Government of India, the commencement date of the Academic Session for the BDS Course for 2022- 23 is 15th November 2022.
Now, the colleges need to upload the details using their already allotted new login credentials for admissions (https://portal.dciindia.gov.in/login) on or before the last date of joining, i.e., 21st December 2022 (midnight).
If the college authorities claim any admission after midnight of 21st December 2022, then Section 10B of the Dentists (Amendment) Act, 1993 and/or Section 16A of the Dentists Act, 1948, as the case may be, will be attracted. It will be presumed that the college authorities have not admitted such candidates to BDS Course at their college for the academic session 2022-23.
