Desh Bhagat Dental College Gets DCI Nod to Increase MDS Seats
Punjab- Desh Bhagat Dental College and Hospital (DBDCH), Punjab, has recently received official recognition from the Dental Council of India (DCI), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. This recognition has been given for successfully increasing the intake capacity for its Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) program in 2 specialisations, i.e. Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopaedics and Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics.
Now the number of intake has been increased from 2 seats to 5 seats. This has been possible after successful inspections and following the prescribed guidelines. With this approval, Desh Bhagat Dental College and Hospital has become the only institute in Punjab that offers 5 seats in these dental subjects.
On this achievement, Chancellor Dr Zora Singh and Vice Chancellor Dr Harsh Sadavarti expressed their heartfelt gratitude to God and expressed deep gratitude for the collective efforts that made this achievement possible. They emphasised the university's continued commitment to promoting health education and fostering excellence in the community, reports DeshSewak.
Along with this, Principal of Desh Bhagat Dental College, Dr Vikram Bali and Vice Principal Dr Tejveer Singh also expressed their appreciation for the unwavering support of the management and acknowledged the dedication of the entire team in achieving this honour.
